Always fix a free standing wardrobe to the wall, even if it feels very sturdy

Look for a wardrobe with shelves and hanging space

Drawers are always useful - soft close are best

A lower hanging rail and low drawers will allow your little one to access and tidy away their own clothes

For built-in wardrobes, build up to the ceiling for maximum storage
