Choose a fixed stand that doesn't rock

Something that is easily portable so you can move it from room to room is good. Wheels are useful if your home is on one level

Your baby will grow out of a moses basket at around 3 months and a crib at around 4 months

Consider a crib which is slightly larger, or a combination of a moses basket and a travel cot if you plan to have your baby in your room for the full first 6 months

Make sure to have a stand with a moses basket and a travel cot with a higher level to make sure you look after your back too
